START THE NEW YEAR BY taking Painting to the next level – 4 week class on making an original acrylic painting of your very own !1/7 Week One PREP & PLANNING, please bring inspiration subject picture or idea and canvas (you pick size) you will want to paint on, we will make thumbnail sketches, plan the painting and prep canvas with gesso and sandpaper. Tania will provide Gesso and sandpaper.
1/14 Week TWO UNDERPAINTING please bring back canvas, and paint supplies for underpainting – Makers has table top easels, some paint (acrylic) and brushes you can borrow but bring basic primary colors and a yummy deep brown like burnt umber as we will work on toning canvas and underpainting. Tania will provide paper goods, plates, cups for water and papertowels.
1/21 Week THREE PAINTING, bring canvas & all paint supplies so you can start the actual painting through color mixing, blocking and blending. Tania will bring paper supplies.
1/28 Week Four FINISHING TOUCHES, time to finish your masterpiece with final edits, tweaks and glazing, bring your canvas and supplies, Tania will bring paper supplies and acrylic gel medium for glazing and blending!
