Our January speaker will be Bob Romano, who with his wife Trish, have owned a cabin in the Rangeley Lakes region in Maine for forty years. Bob will cover where and when to fish, what flies to cast and a few proven techniques and insight into the region’s unique contribution to fly fishing.
With over 100 photos in his program, he will describe how western Maine remains a region where sixteen inch brook trout are not unusual and an angler can still cast a fly with only moose, otter, and beaver for company.
The event will be held on WEDNESDAY, January 14 at Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests conservation center at 54 Portsmouth Street in Concord. We start with pizza and socializing at 6:30 pm with speaker at 7:00 pm.
Come join us! You do not need to be a member to attend and we welcome first timers.
