It's 2025 and the only thing I am certain about is that I am uncertain about what a salty perfume actually is.
Salt is not a natural material. Salt is not even smell. And yet, if I describe a perfume to you (yes, you reading this) right now as smelling 'salty,' something comes up for you. Why? How? What comes up?
What is a salt note in perfume? When is it used? What does it add to a composition? What makes something feel salty? What is the perfect salt perfume?
This month, we're getting to the bottom of it. 🔎

WHAT IS PERFUME ROOM SMELL CLUB?

Think: A book club but for perfume.
