Please join us on January 14th as we welcome guest speaker Carrie Arnold from the Cherry Street Mission. Carrie Arnold is the Vice President of Workforce Development at Cherry Street Mission.
Carrie Arnold spent most of her career in Human Resources but found herself switching to WFD 6 years ago when she worked for Lucas County, as the WIOA Training Manager and never looked back!
Carrie's division at Cherry Street, trains individuals whom are living in poverty, in vocational skills to help them land liveable wage jobs. Her division over the past two years since she has been at Cherry Street has added 3 new classes, graduated over 300 individuals and even launched Cherry Streets first Social Enterprise Intervention (SEI), a food truck!
Carrie grew up in Swanton, where she resides today with her husband Jake. They have 3 children, Luke (19), Brady (19) and Zoe (16). She has a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Toledo.
