First Meow Mixer of the year! We'll be meeting at the Pita Jungle near Mesa Community College (Southern/Dobson) at 630pm on January 13.
This is a socializing event – a chance to put a face to the name since most rescuers don’t really spend a lot of time with other rescuers (in person) and most trappers are usually sitting in the dark by themselves.
The idea is that with a broader network of knowledgeable people you’ll have more resources at your disposal to be a better foster, networker, or trapper. The goal is to stop looking at the screen for your connections and start getting out and about and *meeting* people with similar interests, with similar stories…people who know what you mean when you say ‘I had to give fluids’ or ‘the dreaded rw’ or ‘I forgot newspaper’ or ‘where are my sardines?!’
