The Stitches group began as a small group of ladies that wanted to get-together to knit or crochet back in 2017. We started to gather at our church, MCC in our cafe area. As time passed we became a larger group and started gathering at our local library (Village Library of Morgantown). This is an open door group, meaning when you are able to come. We meet once a month, the fourth Saturday of each month from 9-12. Our purpose: We create handmade items that we can donate out to our community. We create lap blankets, prayer shaws, scarves, hats, soap sacks etc....... We also teach crochet and knitting (we supply the materials). We have ladies that sew, embroider, cross stitch , loom etc... if you have a craft type project you want to bring please feel free.
