Come learn how to swing dance in the new year! Our four week beginner series will get you started on your swing dance journey. The series focuses on Lindy Hop, and covers everything from the triple step to the swingout. No partner or experience is required!
The intermediate class in January will be all about switching! We’ll show you some techniques and cool moves that you can use to change roles, or add texture to your regular dancing.
To join our intermediate class, you only need to know the swingout in ONE role. You do NOT need to know both roles to take the class - we will help teach you! If you've taken our beginner series before, then you are good to go.
Our classes are designed to be progressive series. That means each class builds on the previous one, so it is best to come every week! Both the beginner and intermediate classes run from 7-8pm. Each class costs $15.
From 8-10pm is our weekly social dance! Come dance the night away to our swinging DJs every Thursday. The social dance costs $8, $5 with student ID, or is FREE for folks who take lessons beforehand.
Both the lessons and the social dance are located at The Brownhoist, at 4403 St Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103. Free parking is available in the lot at the corner of St. Clair and E. 45th, as well as on surrounding streets.
