January Kids Art Series: “Winter Wonders!” at The Makery
Join us every week in January for a cozy, creative winter art series designed just for kids!
This month’s theme, Winter Wonders, celebrates everything magical about the season—from shimmering snow to woodland animals, cozy textures, and warm winter treats. Each week features a brand-new art project using kid-friendly materials and techniques. Children are welcome to attend one session or all five—each class is sold individually so you can choose the dates that work best for your family.
Perfect for ages 4–12, these workshops are fun, hands-on, and designed for all skill levels. Our focus is on creativity, confidence, and seasonal joy!
January Weekly Themes
Week 1: Snow & Sparkle — Mixed-media winter landscapes
Week 2: Cozy Critters — Woodland animal collages
Week 3: Frosty Magic — Acrylic Snowman Painting on Canvas
Week 4: Warm & Wooly — Patterned mittens and winter wear printmaking
Week 5: Cocoa Critters — Penguin-in-a-mug winter art project

Tickets sold per week — register for one or join us for all five!
Parents/guardians must remain onsite during the workshop.
All materials are included.
Every child heads home with a completed art project they’ll be proud of.
(NOTE: Week 5 projects will be fired in our kiln and be able to be picked up the next week)
