- GLASS TURTLE STUDIO - 12-9. New Year Sale! 25-50% off select items throughout the shop.
- HIVE artspace - 5-9. Join us for the opening of the first exhibit of the New Year featuring striking artworks in black & white. Come say hello to Susan & Heather, visit Wendy Smith and Erin Fallon in their artist studios on the 2nd floor, Frances Pugh on the 3rd floor, and Angel & Fitz will be here too!
- IN BETWEEN PAGES - 12-8. "Buy One Get One at 50% Off" on all books!
- KING'S COURTYARD - 5-9. One-night-only gallery-wide sale- 10% off all items $100 or less. Live music by Anderson &Anderson from 6-8, thanks to a First Friday grant from Downtown Inc. Special guest Elliz will help you create "Wish Bottles."
- NOEL'S ROCK SHOP - Open 6-8pm. Guitars, pedals, amplifiers & accessories.
- ROAMING ROAST - 9a-9p. Drink specials - TBA.
- TIGER RABBIT STUDIO - 6-9. Visit Ren at Tiger Rabbit this First Friday! Take home wooden screenprints from OchoLocoPress and linoleum block prints by Josh Johnson. A special sale box of prints (birds, tigers, and more) normally $25 are just $15 to help Josh make room for new work in 2026!
- VENTURE - 5-9. Venture will be open 5-9, highlighting cozy, warm wearables: Handmade scarves, wrist rockets, & hats.
- THE VENTURE STUDIOS - 5-9. Planet Side Art Works, Jessica Novinger, and Tatyana Nadtochey will have their working artist studios open for visiting, on the 2nd & 3rd floors above Venture.
- VIBRISSAE PET GROOMING BOUTIQUE - Closed until Jan 5.
- GRANFALLOONS TAVERN - First Friday Afterparty starts at 9pm with Aortic Valve! $5
FOOD & BEVERAGES:
- LEVANT MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE - 11am-8pm. So delicious! Try the Mediterranean Platter for a taste of several items.
- COLLUSION TAP WORKS - Open noon-10pm. Great bar food + 24 beers on tap.
- GRANFALLOONS TAVERN - Open 12-10pm+. Friday Night Special - Half-Price Backside of the Food Menu! American bar fare, wings, burgers, steak.
- WORLD GRILLS - Open 11am-8pm. Asian-fusion. Vegetarian / vegan options available.
- THE YORKTOWNE HOTEL - Continental cuisine with a twist from 5-10pm. The Rooftop Lounge is open 4-11, so come on out to the district for the main event from 5-9, then end the night enjoying some stellar views and a nightcap!
WHERE: The Royal Square District is located in downtown York, PA, in the area surrounded by King, Queen, Duke, and Princess streets. Get to the intersection of King & Duke & you are there.

Free parking is available on weekdays after 5:00pm and all day on weekends at the following locations:
- RSD Mural Park lot at Newton & Howard
- Corner lot of E. Newton Ave and S. Duke Street
- E. King Street and S. Queen Street Lot (directly across from The Bond)
- Collusion Tap Works Customers: Corner lot of S. Howard Street and E. Newton Avenue (directly behind the Bond)
- King Street Parking Garage & Market Street Parking Garage (each just 1 block away)
