Martha's presentation will touch on her experience as a Baker Act consultant, a candidate for public office, and a community volunteer.
About Martha:
Martha Lenderman, MSW, is a Florida native best known for her statewide work with the Baker and Marchman Acts governing mental health and substance abuse issues. After a 30-year career with the State, she began a second 29-year career consulting, training clinical/legal/law enforcement personnel, and serving as an expert in civil litigation. She was appointed to two Supreme Court Commissions and authored the Bench Guide for judges and is posted on the Court’s website.
Martha actively volunteers, chairing the Suncoast Hospice Board, raising funds for the Pinellas Adult Drug Court to provide incentives for participants working their recovery plans, in addition to mentoring a Northeast HS student.
Martha actively supports political candidates, volunteers with the League of Women Voters, and she ran for the Legislature in 1998.
