January Catalytic Converter Theft Prevention Event

Catalytic converter theft is on the rise, but BSO Cooper City deputies are here to help. We will etch your vehicle’s VIN and mark it with “BSO Cooper City” for unique identification. A high-temperature fluorescent paint will also be applied as a theft deterrent.

Appointments are 10-minutes long to allow BSO personnel to move your vehicle on a ramp to get under the car to mark the catalytic converter.

Appointments begin at 8:00 AM. Please select the available timeslot. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time.

This free service is available to Cooper City residents and business owners only.

Participants must show proof of vehicle ownership and sign a liability waiver on site. Deputies will briefly maneuver your vehicle during the service.
