A perfect way to close off the week to prepare and ground you for a new week. A class to support you in building a strong emotional foundation ready for the new year that awaits.
This slow and soft class will support you flowing with the seasons and cosmic energy too which is reinforcing that it is time to focus inward and nurture ourselves before we give to the outside world. When we flow with these energies rather than resist, life is more easeful in all ways and will set us up for a more fruitful and aligned new year.
Yin yoga is a style of yoga, where static poses are held for 3-5 minutes in order to release the fascia (web which wraps around the muscles). When we hold poses in this way we move deeper into our body, so as well as supporting relaxation and lowering stress levels, the style of yoga can support mobility and injury prevention (hello runners and cyclists!) and also encourage a good night's sleep. There will be a full 10 minutes of relaxation at the end of the class too! Mmmmmm bliss!✨
