About this Event
Every other month, we team up with the Cambridge Public Library to highlight contemporary works from marginalized voices. All over a fresh, craft beer, of course!
This month we’ll read The Safekeep by Yael van der Wouden. An exhilarating, twisted tale of desire, suspicion, and obsession between two women staying in the same house in the Dutch countryside during the summer of 1961.
We’ll gather in person in our Broadway location’s back taproom on Wednesday, Januray 7th, at 7:00 pm for our monthly discussion. Grab a beer, cold brew, or kombucha at the front bar, then come find us in the back. The discussion is casual, and all are welcome – even if you don’t finish the book, we’d still love to have you.
So we can have a sense of numbers, please register on Eventbrite – it’s free, we just like to know how many folks we can expect.
Copies of the book are available at the Main Library in Cambridge, at 449 Broadway. The e-book and digital audiobook can be borrowed through the Libby app. Let us know if you need help accessing the book.
Please note that our taprooms are 21+ and all guests should be prepared to show a valid, current government-issued photo ID at the door.
