On Wednesday, January 21st a combined monthly meeting, educational Lunch n’ Learn (LnL), and training webinar sponsored by the Des Moines Chapter of the AGA. Lunch (BYOL) begins at 11:30 am, followed by a brief business meeting. The LnL presentation begins at 12:00 pm followed by the webinar from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

Webinar: Agentic Government: Navigating the AI Transformation
AI is rapidly transforming government—from streamlining operations to enabling more autonomous, agentic systems that assist staff and serve the public. This session explores practical applications, future opportunities, and the unique challenges of adopting AI in the public sector, while offering guidance on how agencies can get started responsibly.
Learning Objectives:
· Understand the distinction between traditional and agentic AI.
· Understand key ethical, regulatory, and operational challenges when adopting AI in government.
· Learn practical steps agencies can take to responsibly get started with AI.
