Crises often occur unexpectedly, and unfortunately, no brand is safe from them. That's why a crisis communication plan is such an important component of a good PR strategy and should be mandatory for every business. Join us at our next IABC professional development meeting on Thursday, January 12, as we discuss tips and tricks for building an effective communication plan for your organization.

About the speaker:
Morgan Chilson Rothenberger has 25+ years of experience as an accomplished writer and communicator. She's served as a newspaper reporter and editor, executive director of marketing and communications and, most recently, as the Director of Communications for Children's Alliance of Kansas. She learned the importance of an in-depth and solid crisis communications plan in the midst of a crisis, and executed on numerous PR strategies in response to critical circumstances as a vital member of her current and past organizations. Additionally, Morgan ghostwrites and edits books, creates marketing materials, works as a photographer and designer, and generally tackles any project involving words!

Registration Details
Member and guest tickets with a lunch option are available. A boxed lunch from Millennium Cafe will be provided for those who select the lunch option. No outside food or drink is allowed.
