For our first event of the new year, join us for an important and insightful meeting exploring how upcoming local government changes could shape the future of our business community.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, including the postponement of the Sussex mayoral elections until 2028, we have adjusted the agenda for this meeting to ensure it remains timely and relevant for our members. We hope to welcome Richard Freeman, CEO and Founder of Always Possible, back at a later date.
We are pleased to welcome representatives from Hastings Borough Council, who will be joining us to outline the council’s budget plans and what these mean for local businesses. The session will also include an update on local government changes, the council’s financial priorities, and the challenges and opportunities facing Hastings and the wider area.
This meeting will provide valuable insight into the evolving local government landscape, offering a platform for open conversation about how these developments may impact your business and how, as a business community, we can work together to navigate change and build resilience for the future.
This meeting will begin at our usual start time of 8:00am.
The event will take place at the Hastings Centre on the Ridge and will include our usual friendly and informal networking over breakfast before we hear from our speakers, with further opportunities to network afterwards.
Getting there: There is onsite parking available at the Hastings Centre which takes payment via Pay By Phone.
