About this Event

CNU-CTX is pleased to again host a Jane's Walk, a walking conversation about our communities. Jane's Walks are part of a global initiative celebrating our cities and neighborhoods, inspired by the life and work of author, activist and urban theorist Jane Jacobs and endeavor to get people out exploring, observing, and talking about neighborhoods and meeting their neighbors. Jane’s Walk promotes walkable neighborhoods and cities planned for and by people. Along the way we will meet some of the people that help to foster and build community in this important area and look at what is working and what could be improved to make the urban fabric better for all the people inhabit that space.

Jane's Walks are always free and open to the public.

We will gather at Waterloo Park at about 8:30 a.m. at the Meredith Plaza at 13th and Trinity. The walking conversation will leave promptly at 9:00 a.m. and we expect it to end at approximately noon.

Parking is free and available at the Capital Visitors Parking Garage across Trinity from Waterloo Park.
