About this Event

Your knowledgeable local tour guide will lead you through the historic streets of Cape May, stopping to sample delicious local cuisine, share stories from our rich past, and share fun facts and photo ops along the way.

At each culinary location you'll sample a specialty food item. In some cases, our partners have developed a customized, off-menu treat and special discounts for a return visit just for Cape May Food Tours.

We'll stop at five to six locations on each tour including a variety of cuisines, from savory to sweet.

Locations may include the following and are subject to change:

- Fresh, seasonally sourced ingredients serve as inspiration for creative takes on timeless cuisine surrounded by the historic charm of The Inn of Cape May. Established as a boarding house in 1894, the Inn has grown and transformed into a modern beachfront destination rooted in Cape May history.

- The passion of the local owners shows in the thoughtfully crafted sandwiches, salads, beach treats, and more (including unique vegetarian options.

- Local owners have created an award-winning experience that you'll love!

- Our creamery curators have searched the world high and low to bring you the ultimate selection of the finest quality cheeses, meats, and custom cheese and charcuterie boards.

- Authentic cuisine from Oaxacan, Mexico, originating from family recipies passed down and shared by our host, Chef Lucy.

- If you LOVE peanut butter, this is a “must-visit” destination. All our nut butters are freshly batched and ground in house – and featured flavors expand way beyond your traditional peanut butter.

- Award winning, handwhipped fudge made right by the sea!

We encourage you to bring your own water bottle, and we will stop at a water bottle filling station and restrooms along the way.

Total walking time is approximately 20-30 minutes, broken out among our dining stops.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and being prepared for all weather conditions.
