James Julian Villa is a Portland-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and former frontman of Brizzleman, known for his emotionally raw, genre-blending alt-pop. After years of producing and co-writing albums for artists across the Pacific Northwest, Villa stepped into the spotlight with his self-produced debut Death of The Brizzleman — a bold, self-reflective album that marked the end of a stage persona and the beginning of a more vulnerable chapter.
His current project, The Window, is developing through a series of color-themed EPs. The first, The Weathering (Blue), wrestles with mortality and memory through cinematic indie Americana. The upcoming The Withering (Green) leans into electronic and indie textures to explore quiet collapse, inner tension, and the weight of unspoken struggle — all delivered with sharp songwriting and surreal visuals.
He is joined by McKenna Esteb (Boise) and Sophie Bird.
