About this Event

We are delighted to offer you a free place at our event marking World Suicide Prevention Day 2024.

This is the perfect opportunity to find out more about our lifesaving work which helps men out of suicidal crisis, offering a quick and free in-person talking therapy intervention using our specialised model.

James’ Place is a charity offering free, life-saving treatment to men in suicidal crisis at centres in London, Liverpool and Newcastle. We see men for around 6-8 sessions of in-person therapy with trained, employed professionals. We get to work on the heart of the crisis and give men hope for the future.

The event will include a presentation on our service, a live in-person interview with a former James' Place service user and an extensive audience Q&A, where audience members will be able to ask questions to members of our clinical, fundraising, comms and outreach teams.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided for all attendees.
