About this Event
Join us at 4pm on 1 March 2024 in the Irish Studies Room, 27 University Square where QUB's own PhD student James Orchin (of the QUB History Seminar Series fame!) will be presenting his research paper: ''Better Satisfied than ever with my own Country': Political, Social, and Religious Considerations of the Eighteenth-Century British Traveller'.
James is a second-year PhD student in the school of History at QUB who is working on his PhD thesis: 'A Moon among lesser Stars': William Windham and the English Right, 1780-1810. He has also been part of the committee for organising the History Seminar Series since September 2023.
For those who can't attend in person, an MS Teams link will be sent out on the day. For those in attendance, wine, soft drinks, and snacks will be provided!
We hope to see you there!
