On sale from 11am on Tuesday 16th September We're delighted to announce that BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter James Morrison will be coming to Marlborough College Memorial Hall on Saturday 1st November as part of an intimate acoustic record shop tour. He'll be playing a promotional set from 8pm to celebrate the release of 'Fight Another Day', his first album of new material in six years.
Famed for his soulful, gravelly vocal and emotionally resonant songwriting, James first rose to prominence in 2006 with his No. 1, multi-Platinum-selling debut album 'Undiscovered' and its massive single "You Give Me Something", which also earned him the first of several BRIT nominations. James has scored five Top 10 albums including 2022's Greatest Hits set,
New album 'Fight Another Day' is a scorching, soul-baring, defiant comeback born of difficult times and heavy emotions but one that, ultimately, leans into the light and joy and hope. The album features contributions from Daniel Merriweather, twice-Ivor Novello Award winner Eg White and Young Gun Silver Fox's Andy Platts. The album is released on CD, white vinyl and a green vinyl exclusive to indie record shops on Friday 3rd October.
