The CAT Club presents The Sunday Showdown withJAMES MADDOCK live in concert.
Sunday 20th July at 6.30pm - SOLD OUT.
Extra show added at 3pm.
James Maddock recently shared the stage (not for the first time) with Bruce Springsteen in New Jersey. The Boss is a fan of James, and so are we here at The CAT Club. We are absolutely delighted that he’ll be appearing once again on our stage in The Robin Hood’s Pigeon Loft, following two sold out shows last year.
As well as sharing the stage with Springsteen, James has also worked with Paul Weller, Counting Crows, Pete Seeger, Levon Helm and The Waterboys (including writing songs with their head honcho, Mike Scott).
The New York based troubadour blurs the lines across folk, classic pop & rock drawing on musical influences that include legends such as Van Morrison, Neil Young and Bob Dylan.
With a new solo album in the works, James is now gearing up for an exciting European tour during 2025, bringing his unique blend of folk rock and Americana to fans across the continent.
“Maddocks’ heartbreaking and beautiful and exquisitely crafted music touches the soul” – Vin Scelsa.
“He has the ability to stun a crowded room into awe with just himself and a guitar. All his songs share a haunting guitar backdrop, and his voice is a marvel, torn and battered by life but infinitely resilient” – Stuart McLachlan from LouderThanWar
Happy Trails.
