James Coates Band:
PNW Roots & Americana
Americana artist James Coates sings about what he knows: falling and getting back up again. His latest album One Last Ride was lovingly crafted over a period of five years.
The result is a deeply personal look into the life of an artist through handcrafted songs, made even more immersive when performed by Coates's clique of talented local session players, which include a horn section and backing chorus.
But above all the lush instrumentation sits the voice of the storyteller. Producers ditched the autotune relied on by so many artists to instead create an artifact of humanistic beauty: one songwriter and his stories, the way he wants them told.

-Bio: What's up everybody? My name is Maddie Wolf and I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to perform for y'all this september! I have always been around music and musicians and have loved starting out with my own experience in the local church and in recent performances alongside the cosmotones! I am honored to be playing alongside some of my greatest musical mentors and present to you some original stuff we have been working on together! I was born and raised in Western Washington, exposed to songwriting at an early age. I'm a singer songwriter, art and worship teacher, wife, daughter, sister, and I am so ready to party with you!
Fox & Bones. Bio:
Portland based folk-pop duo Fox and Bones has been busy in their seemingly short time as a band. In just six years, the unrelentingly hardworking duo has played over 900 shows in 7 countries, released three full length albums, been written up in No Depression, American Songwriter and PARADE Magazine, and shared stages with the likes of ZZ Ward and The Dead South.
Scott Gilmore and Sarah Vitort comprise the retro folk inspired duo, which is often compared to revered folk rock acts of the past like Fleetwood Mac and Simon and Garfunkel with a twist of modern retro flavor a la Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Lake Street Dive, and Dawes. The pair mixes their unique brand of lighthearted yet honest storytelling, penchant for meta optimism, and playful on-stage banter to create a show that draws their audiences in and makes them feel like family. Add that to their award-winning 20+ years of combined songwriting experience (earning them 2nd Place in the International Acoustic Music Awards for "Houses of Sand") and sultry, soulful vocals complete with heartwarming harmonies, and you'll find that a Fox and Bones show is an event not to be missed.
