We are super thrilled to have partnered up with Steph Salazar to offer a one night workshop on jam skating essentials! Steph is a multitalented athlete who specials in jam skating, roller derby coaching, park skating, artistic skating and ice skating, as well as personal training. The details:
January 28th
5:30-7:30
235 Frontenac Street (old KCVI building on Queens campus)- ENTER THROUGH THE DOOR ON FRONTENAC ST.!
Who can join us?
Ages 16+ welcome with skating experience! (These are not for folks trying to skate for the first time) Must be comfortable skating forwards, stopping and have good spacial awareness. Sorry, no kiddos for this event!
Gear talk:
You need to bring your own skates (quads) and any protective gear that makes you feel safe.
Cost:
25$ per person.
Registration:
We will need a minimum of 12 participants to run this workshop so please pre-register by sending an etransfer to [email protected] clearly stating your name.
Rules:
We want these events to be fun and safe for everyone so we do have some guidelines that need to be followed. We are asking folks to check out our community agreement waiver (located in bio section of our Instagram page) and sign a copy prior to skating. We will have printed copies available at the door night of the event.
