Since gaining prominence in the early 2000s with his viral ukulele cover of George Harrison’s While My Guitar Gently Weeps, the performer and composer Jake Shimabukuro's star has flown to such heights that his name is virtually synonymous with his instrument. With over a dozen instrumental solo albums, Shimabukuro has shown an effortless skill at skating between styles, blasting his way through waves of staccato thirty-second notes with classical precision and ambling melodically through a heartwarming pop ballad.
