Jagdklang: auf der Suche nach Klängen sein, ihnen nachjagen und sie jagen, anstatt über ihre Entfaltung oder Anordnung nachzudenken oder sie im Voraus zu bedenken. Denn die musikalische Improvisation wird von der Spannung der Begegnung mit dem Ungewissen angetrieben, statt auf gesicherten Vorrichtungen zu beruhen.
Das sind die Prämissen für das Zusammentreffen der vier Berliner Improvisator*innen. Und wenn die Jagdsaison nicht ganz im Freien stattfindet, ist es die Musik von Steve Lacy, die hier den Anstoß für eine Öffnung der musikalischen und klanglichen Möglichkeiten gibt.

HINWEIS: Im Jahr 2024 starten die Konzerte im LOFT in der Regel gegen 20 Uhr - das LOFT öffnet jeweils um 19.30 Uhr.
Ausnahmen: Sonntags-Konzerte im April können früher beginnen, die genauen Anfangszeiten können den jeweiligen Konzertankündigungen entnommen werden.

Jagdklang – or Hunt-Sound: being on the lookout for sounds, chasing and hunting them, rather than contemplating or premeditating their unfolding or arrangement. For musical improvisation is driven by the excitement of encounters with uncertainty, rather being founded upon assured devices. Such are the premises for this gathering of the four Berlin-based improvisers. And when the hunting season is not entirely in the open, it is the music of Steve Lacy which here provides the impetus for an opening of musical and sonic possibilities.
