Kansas born and raised, Jaelen Johnston's music career began at age sixteen, after receiving a pretty little pawnshop Taylor guitar from his grandparents. Now, barely in his twenties, Jaelen Johnston has worked tirelessly to hone his craft, create a dedicated fan following, and make an impressive name for himself locally by playing to packed houses across the midwest. His undeniable vocal talent has caught the attention of many for its uniquely deep resonance, raw grit, country drawl, and bluesy smoothness. Although primarily influenced by a more red-dirt and old country sound, Jaelen prides himself on his ability to put his own spin on many different genres of music.Jaelen has written and released a number of original songs in the last couple of years that are available on all streaming platforms, with more original music planned for this year.
Most recently, Jaelen has gained national exposure by completing the “open-call” audition process and appearing on Season 27 of NBC's The Voice, where he turned three chairs and is gearing up for the “Battle Rounds” to air in March 2025.
