Jaden Shahin & Sarha Jazz Quintet
Join Jaden Shahin & Sarha for a unique Jazz experience featuring Original Compositions and the music of Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter, and Paul Motian. This event is Jaden Shahin's senior project in Jazz drumming/composition at William & Mary which aims to honor some of the great Jazz musicians and explore the roles of music in identity and activism. This performance will take place at the Williamsburg Regional Library Theater on April 19th starting at 3pm, with doors opening at 2:30pm. The band will feature saxophonists Jason Arce and Jeff Smith, Victor Haskins on Cornet/EWI, and Chris Brydge on Bass. Free Admission!
