3 to 5 Rider Team Time Trial
Build a team of at least 3 riders and no more than 5 riders and see how fast you can complete the course!
Divisions:
• Open Men
• Non-Aero Men*
• Master 50+ Men
• Open Women
• Non-Aero Women*
• Masters 50+ Women
• Coed*^
• Non-Aero Co-ed*^
• Youth**
^Team must have at least one male and one female racer.
* Non-Aero categories are not allowed to use wheels deeper than 60mm, time trial helmets (or anything with a visor), or aero bars. Bonus seconds will be provided for using the following equipment:
—> 5 second bonus for each wool jersey
—> 5 second bonus for each set of box section rims
—> 10 second bonus for each steel frame bike
—> 10 second bonus for each fixed gear drivetrain
Example: if each rider on your 5 person team shows up with wool jerseys, you’ll receive a 25 second reduction to your final time. If two of you have steel frame bikes, that’s another 20 second bonus.
** Youth teams must have one adult chaperone older than 21. All other members must be 17 or younger.
The unofficial start time for the event will be 8:45 AM. To unofficially enter the event you’ll need to present your entire team for a photo. Racing will start at 9:00 AM.
The day before the event, I will post the unofficial start times. This start schedule doesn't need to be strictly adhered to. All timekeeping will be done virtually through Strava, and unofficial race results will be posted online later that evening.
Please announce your teams on the event page wall. I will post updated list every so often so that we're all in the know. Once teams are finalized, I'll announce start times for each team and notify everyone using the wall.
All bikes are welcome in the open categories. “Rules” for the non-aero category are posted above.
Prizes will consist of some really poorly designed digital trophies that you can use to brag about your accomplishment on social media.

✯ Course Description
Start/finish line will be near Gusto Coffee in the New Longview Area. The route is 19.56 miles with fast roads, rollers, and only a few stop lights that will try and slow you down. It’s expected that you’ll follow all local laws regarding riding bicycles on the road. There will be no course markings of any kind.

Rules: (subject to change before the event)
1) Teams must contain at least 3 and no more than 5 members.
2) Finishing time will be calculated from the 3rd team member to complete the Strava Segment. This means you can ditch a couple of riders if needed...
3) The entire route must be completed to be registered on Strava. Strava is the official timekeeper of the Jacomo Classic Team Time Trial. The course will not be marked, so it's up to riders to download the course / Strava segment into their GPS devices and follow the correct course. If you take a wrong turn and add mileage, send me your time (from the 3rd rider across the line) after the event. If you cut the course, you are unofficially disqualified.
4) Be prepared. Carry extra tubes, pump, tire boot, food, water, cell phone, cue sheet. This event is 100% unsupported, so if you need help, it's on you to figure it out.
