Den efterspurgte jazzpianist og komponist Jacob Christoffersen gæster Montmartre med sin trio bestående af bassist Thomas Fonnesbæk og trommeslager Zoltan Csörsz. Med en enorm virtuositet og overlegent musikalsk overblik er Christoffersen en alsidig musiker med en række succesfulde samarbejder med sig i kufferten, der blandt andre tæller Sinne Eeg, Cæcilie Norby og Majbritte Ulrikkeholm.
Som en del af koncertrækken ”Meeting the Swedes” har Christoffersen inviteret en af Sveriges fremtrædende jazzsangerinder Ellen Andersson med på scenen. Med en særligt stor kærlighed til det amerikanske standardrepertoire bevæger hun sig imellem det intime og storladne, det alvorlige og legefulde samt det nedskrevne og det improviserede med en stor musikalsk integritet som fællesnævner.

The sought-after jazz pianist and composer Jacob Christoffersen visits Montmartre with his trio consisting of bassist Thomas Fonnesbæk and drummer Zoltan Csörsz. With an immensely amount of virtuosity and effortlessly musical overview Christoffersen is a versatile musician who brings a number of successful collaborations with him; Sinne Eeg, Cæcilie Norby and Majbritte Ulrikkeholm among others.
This night, Christoffersen has invited one of Sweden’s most prominent jazz singers Ellen Andersson with him on stage. With a particularly love for the repertoire of American standards she moves between the intimate and the grand, the serious and the playful and the written-down and the improvised with a constant immense musical integrity.
