The CXBJJ Jacksonville Summer Open Championship will take place on August 10, 2024, at the American Legion in Jacksonville, NC. The event features both Gi and No-Gi competitions for various age groups, starting with adult weigh-ins at 8:30 AM, followed by competitions from 9:30 AM to approximately. 12:00 PM. Kids and teens weigh-ins will be from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with their competitions running from 12:30 PM to completion (appoximately 4:30 PM).Competitors can register for categories such as Boys/Girls Gi and No-Gi, Juvenile Boys/Girls Gi and No-Gi, and Adult Male/Female Gi and No-Gi, with each registration costing $55 for Early Bird (until 5 Jul); $65 for Normal (5 Jul to 19 Jul); and $75 for Late (19 Jul to 7 Aug).
**Absolute registration is free for Adults that register in their respective discipline/weight class**
Spectator fees are $10 if pre-paid online and $15 at the door. The event will also feature continuous awards presentations and overall team trophies at the closing ceremony.
The event utilizes the IBJJF ruleset. Kids and Teens: All ties go to referee decision as NO advantages will be used.
