Saxophonist and composer Jack Wilkins has eight CD’s out as a leader. His most recent is “Acadian Rhythms”. He can also be heard as a featured soloist on the critically-acclaimed recordings by Chuck Owen and the Jazz Surge, including “Whispers on the Wind” for which he was a Grammy award finalist as a performer and as the saxophone soloist on “River Runs: A Concerto for Jazz Guitar, Saxophone and Orchestra”. Wilkins is Professor Emeritus at the University of South Florida School of Music where he was Director of the Jazz Studies program. Jack Wilkins - saxophone
