About the Author:
Jacinta Williams grew up in a small area near Union, South Carolina, and has pursued a diverse and purposeful educational and professional journey. She graduated from Greenville Technical College with a Property Management Certificate and earned her license as a Property Management In Charge through the SC Real Estate Commission. This achievement marked the beginning of her 17-year career as an apartment Community Manager, dedicated to affordable housing.
As a graduate of Spartanburg Community College (SCC) with a degree in Business Management and Marketing, Jacinta continued to expand her skill set. She earned a certificate in Medical Assistance and pursued midwifery, obtaining her midwifery certificate. Her dedication led her to a two-year apprenticeship at a midwifery clinic in the Upstate, during which she received notable recognition. She was honored by the National Association to Advance Black Birth (NAABB), Elephant Circle, and Midwives for Black Lives, earning a scholarship and being featured on the Mama's Maternity podcast.
Currently, Jacinta works in healthcare as a Community Relations Manager, focusing on building community connections and promoting health education. Her passion for personal growth and self-care is grounded in the belief that achieving one’s best self requires intentional mental and physical wellness.
Journaling has been a transformative tool in Jacinta’s personal development. Through her writing practice, she has discovered profound benefits, which inspired her to create a journal designed to guide others in self-reflection, goal-setting, and intentional living. This journal is more than just a collection of pages—it is a roadmap for individuals seeking to understand themselves, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change.
Reflecting her love for creativity and whimsy, Jacinta infused her journal with colorful illustrations of cupcakes and other delightful treats, adding a personal and playful touch. A unique detail of her journey is her cup tattoo, which she now sees as a prophetic symbol leading to the creation of her journal, aptly named Tiny Cupcakes. This title serves as a nod to her passion, creativity, and personal story.
