He co-founded Chicago’s Public House Theatre and the long-running hit Bye Bye Liver: The Drinking Play, and now performs as J. Dunks, blending witty, heartfelt pop-rock influenced by mentors like David Childers and Bobby McFerrin. Since moving to Hendersonville, NC, he has become a leader in the local arts scene, serving as President of the Arts Council of Henderson County, teaching music and theatre, and creating original performances with his group The Gathering Dark. Currently Theatre Arts teacher at FernLeaf Community Charter School, Josh continues to inspire audiences and students with his humor, heart, and creativity.
