Was that a chill in the air or a ghost crossing your path? Do you know what lies beyond the veil and goes bump in the night? Or, perhaps, you have ghost story that you want to share? Then this is the writing workshop for you. Join the Iowa Youth Writing Project for a free writing workshop all about the spooky world of ghost stories and get ready for our 2nd annual ghost story writing contest: Ghosts on the Radio! During these sessions, participants will listen to and read ghost stories, learn what goes into them, and begin to write their own. They will leave with a packet of materials to help them continue working on their ghost stories just in time for fall.
Where: Meeting Room A, Iowa City Public Library, 123 S Linn St.
When: September 13th
Session One for 7–12-year-olds: 10:30a-12:00p
Session Two for 13–17-year-olds: 1:00p-2:30p
