Enjoy a Day of play at our biggest "Fun"-raiser event of the year! 🎉IYS is hosting our 4th annual Love our Children "Day of Play" fundraiser. This is a time for us to promote positive relationships and youth development through play time while raising money for our 6 service areas - Shelter/Housing, Nutrition, Emergency Services, Workforce Development, Education, and Remote Resources.
This is our biggest fundraising activity of the year, with a goal of bringing in $50,000 and getting all of the community to rally around supporting our local at-risk and homeless youth. In addition, most of the youth we serve lack viable access to sports and physical activities, so this gives an affordable way for kids to get their play time in.
All of our youth activities are available with the purchase of a $5 entry ticket ($3 per youth), along with a free event t-shirt!
Additional adult friendly activities are available and include Bingo ($2 per ticket or 5 for $8), and a raffle drawing ($2 per ticket, 5 for $8, or an arms length for $25).
National Love Our Children Day on the first Saturday in April focuses on raising awareness on child abuse during National Child Abuse Prevention Month. This day honors all children and encourages us to develop loving, respectful relationships with our children.

Child abuse and neglect affect an estimated 700,000 children each year in the United States. Of these, the youngest are the most vulnerable. In 2015 in the United States, statistics from the U.S. Administration for Children & Families estimate that 1,670 children died as a result of abuse and neglect.
In 2024, IYS was able to help 2,355 individuals that were homeless, runaway, DHS Foster Care, and at-risk. IYS is a small locally funded and supported nonprofit in Klamath County, meaning all dollars stay local to help our community thrive and prosper!
