About this Event
Co-hosted by Carlisle One World Centre's International Women's Group and UK Woman Up, this long awaited follow up to the acclaimed debut in 2024, OPEN MIC NIGHT is back for International Women's day 2025. This dynamic and fun event will be a unique celebration of women's voices through Poetry, Spoken Word & Songs/Music from women from all over the world living in Carlisle.
Women from all backgrounds who are non-male identifying, aged 14+ are invited to join in this welcoming, friendly, safe and inclusive event.
There will be plenty of extras, too, such as games, photo challenges, opportunties to win prizes (don't forget your cash if you want to buy raffle tickets!) and much more. Also, this alcohol free evening would not be complete without the popular Magnificent Mocktails (new and improved recipes!) and a few savoury and sweet snacks on the side. Plus, it's all FREE*
