About this Event
For our annual IvyKids Holiday event, come spend the morning at the bookshop for festive, wintry-themed children's music and crafts! From 9-10am on December 14, join us for a free winter-themed music class with Common Tone Music in the shop. Plus, make a paper snowflake with Laura Gehl, author of Snow Is... , sip some hot cocoa, and fill out a book wish list.
We're so happy 'tis the season to invite you over for this! We can't wait to see you there.
Laura Gehl is the author of more than fifty books for young readers, including One Big Pair of Underwear, a Charlotte Zolotow Highly Commended Title and Booklist Books for Youth Editors’ Choice; I Got a Chicken for My Birthday, a Kirkus Reviews Best Picture Book; Donut, a Dolly Parton Imagination Library selection and Junior Library Guild selection; and Apple and Magnolia, a White Ravens International Children’s and Youth Literature Selection. Kirkus Reviews called her newest book, Snow Is..., a "cozy ode to snow" and a "sweet wintry celebration." Laura lives with her husband and their four kids in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Visit her online at LauraGehl.com.
