Synopsis:
The Ivotion Digital Denture course looks to provide participants with an easy to follow and enjoyable first step into the digital denture world. Delegates will leave with a comprehensive understanding on how digital denture technology can be used to help them in their dental laboratories. Covering exactly how Scanning, CAD design, 3D Printing, CAM and Milling can be used to create special trays, try ins, copy and standard dentures, they will feel more confident in their understanding of the possibilities as well as the pros and cons of all stages involved in the process of producing digital dentures
Aims:
This one day course has something for everyone and is designed to show you what is possible using the Ivotion digital denture system. Tutor Gill Egan will demonstrate several workflows by showing the technical stages to enable delegates to understand the possibilities for manufacturing dentures digitally. The tutor will show how conventional, copy dentures, single arches, partials and even the BPS workflow can be successfully completed. Explanations accompanied by demonstrations showing how Scanning, CAD design, 3D Printing, CAM and Milling can be used to create special trays, try ins, Gnathometer M and CAD with Gothic Arch Tracing and finished dentures. Delegates will feel more confident in their understanding of the possibilities as well as the pros and cons of all stages involved in the process of producing digital dentures
