We're excited to announce the first ever Ivey's Steak & Wing Cookoff as we kick off the spring season at Ivey's Building Materials Center in Blanchard, Louisiana!!The festivities will start at 8am and continue until awards at 3pm!
There will be local vendors, bbq teams and inflatables for the kids to enjoy.
Patrons will be able to purchase sample wristbands for $5 which allows the taste of each competitor's food!
Event Schedule:
6am-7am- Team Load-in
8am- Cooks Meeting
10am- Judges Meeting
11am-1pm- People's Choice Tasting
11am- Chicken Wing Turn-in
1pm- Steak Turn-in
3pm- Awards
Awards:
Grand Champion: $1000 and Trophy
People's Choice: Custom Award and Prize Pack
First Place Steak: $150 and Trophy
Second Place Steak: Trophy
Third Place Steak: Trophy
First Place Chicken: $150 and Trophy
Second Place Chicken: Trophy
Third Place Chicken: Trophy
Cook Team Info:
-Team Registration: $150 (4 person max)
-Competitive Steak/Wings (provided)
-People's Choice Steak/Wings (team provided)
-Teams must participate in People's Choice if entered. Steak/Wing samples must be cooked to supply to public. Any cut of steak is allowed for this segment.
-Any heat source allowed. No electric or water available.
