It’s Snakes (fronted by Hope Nicholls of Fethin Bones) rocks a range of influences and style that can that can be traced through decades of adoration of all genres, trash and treasure alike, a little Rolling Stones, a little Pylon, a little James Brown, a lot all their own.
Mercyland is the Athens, Georgia band fronted by David Barbe before he was picked up by Bob Mould to form part of the power trio Sugar. Not surprisingly, the band sounds like Husker Du without Bob Mould and Grant Hart's songwriting chops.
PINKEYE hails from Asheville, NC and gives a nod to influences like Iggy Pop/Stooges. They are all about having fun and usually encourage people to jump up and sing along at some point during their shows.
