PsychSocial is the monthly gathering for mental health professionals who are ready to connect off the clock.
We’re bringing the community together at Salazar, one of DC’s rooftop bars on 14th Street. Think tacos, cocktails, rooftop views, and good energy all around.
This is NOT another networking event. It’s playtime for the space holders. A chance to exhale, laugh, and build real connection with people who get what it means to care for others while remembering to care for themselves.
Whether you’re a psychologist, social worker, therapist, counselor, or wellness practitioner, you belong here. Show up as you are, meet new faces, and let the evening remind you that joy is a form of self-care. Community is a form of self-care.

Heyy! I’m akia grace — and I host PsychSocial, a social gathering for psychologists, therapists, social workers, counselors, and other mental health folx who value PLAY and COMMUNITY.
With everything we carry in this work, we deserve spaces that let us do just that. Chill. Vibe. Connect. Too many of us are climbing our way back from burnout and compassion fatigue. We’re constantly holding space for others and PsychSocial is about holding space for ourselves, too.
This isn’t a networking event. 📣Don’t bring work here! Just pull up ready to meet new people, catch some rooftop vibes, sip something good, eat well, and be part of a community that fills you up.
