It’s time to relax and do a real Saffrican “konsert”!
“IT’S NOT INSIDE, IT’S…”
is a concert of South African hit songs from the 70s and early 80s
centered around movie and TV advertisements from the era.
Expect songs like Hasie, hoekom is jou stert so kort, Pretty Belinda, Clap Tour Hands And Stamp Your Feet, Save Me (Clout), Paradise Road and Timothy,
amongst other well remembered songs from the time.
With lots of parody and comedy worked in, the music is refreshed but recalled fondly.
To add to the fun (and parody), South African 70s fashions will be on display on the stage, from hot pants and Crimpelene mini dresses to real Saffrican safari suits,
longs socks with a comb tucked in and platform shoes.
And a 1967 Ford Mustang or two...
