About this Event
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CHILDREN.The Annual Kwanzaa of the National Great Blacks In Wax Museum, in partnership with the Men and Families Center, is all about the children.
Our Umoja (unity) gift to the community acknowledges, showcases, uplifts, and greatly appreciates the talents, the creativity and the unlimited possibilities within our children. Knowing the African Proverb: "A CHILD IS WHAT YOU PUT INTO HIM" we give thanks to those doing the work.
In the African Oral Tradition expressions of rhythms, songs, movements and stories will be given. Motivational, and memorable performances and presentations will come through and from the Community of Academic Scholars, Dance Happens, Inc., the Growing Griots, Keur Khaleyi Kids (K3), Power FTP (For The People) and members of the National Association of Black Storytellers, Inc.-Book Giveaways
