Have you been in your alley recently? Have you considered partnering with your neighbors to set up a regular clean up and improvement day? We'd like to encourgae all of our alley adjacent neighbors to get involved in reclaiming our alleyways and increasing access to green space and parks in our community.**This is a recurring suggested event as a place holders for neighbors to come together and begin 'tending the public commons' which are our neighborhood alley ways. There may or may not be SSPNA board members in your alley on the 4th Saturday, we encourage neighbors to gather and begin activations together to beautify and improve their space!
Invite your friends and neighbors from across South San Pedro as we coordinate with Bernalillo Parks & Recreation Urban Ag to transform our alleyways into safe and welcoming Open Space community gathering places! Contact: [email protected] or YOUR neigbhbor hood leaders if you are in one of our neighboring associations.
If you havent followed 'The Way Of Light' Alley, or stopped by to check it out yet, we encourage you to do so that you can start envisioning with your neighbors about what type of 'pocket park' or trail you could bring to your alley space.

Weekly or Monthly Makers/Growers market?
Community gathering space?
Dog Park?
A bag for trash pick up
Native Plants or Seeds to plant behind your back wall/gate
Paint,Chalk,Mosaic Tiles for your wall/fence?
