Take Refuge in this Community Event.Find belonging within the ancient wisdom of Community Ritual.
We will:
Create a Sacred Circle and Altar
Honor Loved Ones no longer in our presence
Show up for our Community Values
Honor our individual and collective grief and losses
Invoke Ancient Wisdom practices such as; Drumming, Noble Silence, Sharing, Holding, Movement, Music, Guided Visualization, Compassion, Non-Judgement and Love
Invoking the Ancient Wisdom of our Ancestors, married with the contemporary wisdom of neuroscience, and inspired by Sobunfu Some, Frances Weller, Joanna Macy, and Thich Nhat Hanh, we will engage in the ancient traditional healing medicine of Communal Ritual.
the witnessing of the community has the capacity to act like scissors that cut us away from unhealthy ties, so we can rewire ourselves in the way we should be wired, to say ‘yes, I’m alive, finally, again!'" -Sobunfu Somé
