For over 1,000 years or more, the saying, “As Rome went, so went the world” was pretty much gospel.
Fast forward 1,600+ years and it's easy to see how that phrase was first turned. The significance of Italian influence over world culture is almost impossible to overstate. Among the many highly-coveted Italian exports, Italian wine continues to trend towards the top of that list. 20+ recognized growing regions making wine from 400-500 different grape varietals seems like something that should be celebrated!
...so in that very spirit, we’re bringing back another favorite of both guests and staff alike - The RRSC Italian Wine Dinner!
Let’s celebrate and play from Side-A on “Italy’s Best” by pouring some of the greatest hits. Wines from Piedmont and Tuscany and Sicily and back across and right and north and south. And maybe even a tasty curveball in the glass just for good measure
Joining us on this Italian Job is Chef James Anderson, the fearless leader and Head Chef at our humble Supper Club. Having traveled and eaten his way through Italy on 3 occasions, he'll be pulling from all the best parts of their bountiful culinary cannon, including leaning heavily into Roman fare, to try and provide a truly beautiful service!
