About this Event
Michiko Matsuura is a Fine Wine Specialist with Winebow Imports, where she represents a portfolio of premium European wines. She works closely with restaurants, retailers, and collectors to bring exceptional wines to market, ranging from benchmark producers in Burgundy to hidden gems across Italy, Spain, and beyond.
Michiko holds the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 4 Diploma in Wines and brings over a decade of industry experience, including hospitality, wine education, wholesale distribution roles, and most recently, wine imports. Her background includes work as a sommelier, catering manager, and event planner, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how wine brings people together in both every day and elevated settings.
In addition to her work with Winebow, she teaches WSET courses and regularly leads public tastings and speaking engagements throughout the region. Her passion lies in making great wine feel approachable, meaningful, and worth sharing.
