About this Event
The Italian Embassy, together with the School of Linguistics and Language Studies (SLALS) at Carleton University, is pleased to invite you to another special Italian film screening!
Una storia senza nome, a 2018 drama by director Roberto Andò, deals with the robbery of a famous Caravaggio painting, “Nativity with Saints Lawrence and Francis of Assisi” - a real event that occurred in Palermo in 1969. The protagonist, Valeria, soon finds herself unwillingly drawn into a dangerous plot involving a mysterious gift and uncomfortable truths…
Language: Italian with English subtitles.
The screening will take place on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at St. Patrick Building - Room 100, Carleton University (1125 Colonel By Dr, Ottawa).
Admission is free and open to all. Seating is limited, so registration is encouraged.
We look forward to welcoming students, faculty, and members of the wider community to this cinematic celebration of Italian language and culture.
